^^^^ true, most machine shops wont even bore a block WITHOUT having pistons to match it up.

guess whoever buys it will have to measure bore, taper, pistons to wall clearance, which you should do anyway.

well yea thats what your suppost to do when your building a engine i would do that in any case ..... my buddy bored it out at turbo diesel and electric machine shop . if your piston doesnt fit for any reason it can be bored to fit just be worned that 81 mm pistons will not work in this block. 81.5 mm or if u already have pistons bought let me know and i mic them, and put a dial bore guage to check the clearance. sorry for any problems this has created just tryin to free up some space

if the pistons are stock 81 mm than they will not fit but if they are 20 over they will fit.

i had the machine work done to this i work in the head department and got my buddy to bore and hone it you would need a 20 over piston and i can check your piston to make sure its right.

if they are stock type r pistons and they are used i would not use them because whenb yopu press them off the rod there is a chance that they would crack and the crack sould be so small that you wouldnt know till you put the engine togather and then it comes apart.
