98 Prelude sh parting out........

I have a 98 prelude sh that I need to get rid of. It is just taking up space in my garage and do not want it anymore. If anyone knows how I can get rid of it and make a bit of money let me know. I have stock rims, tanabe medallion exhaust, dc header and aem intake. The rest of the car is in great condition. The engine blew in it and I went ahead and had to get a new car. I have the title for it but I never had it switched to my name due to it breaking the fuk down a month after I bought it.

Why not just drop another motor in it and be done?

If you are going to part it out then you need to post the vin number up.

I live in herrington mills apt. The car is in a garage with the engine sitting in front of it and it has no front wheels. Axles are off. I have a variety of rims that have good tires on them that I can't use b/c the rims were discontinued and I have the four brand new 17's on them,. The stock rims I would take 250 for them. Condition good. Tires good.

To the person wanting the shell. It is a long story. I bought the car off a private dealer and it had a Louisianna title. In the process of me getting it changed over it was giving me a sorts of problems. You would have to purchase a title bond for it.

Yeah. I gots me a little 06 civic coupe and right now I am trying to buy a house so the car scene is going on the backburner again. Trust me a want to do some stuff to the civic and I would love to keep the lude but its just to much.

Clear as in not stolen. Yes. But clear as in going up to the dmv and getting the title switched over not so sure that would be that easy.

As I stated in an earlier post I bought it from a private dealer and had some problems getting the titled swwitched to my name. the guy was an idiot and apparently with Louisianna titles you need to have them noterized with changes of possesion. He hadn't done that. Then the motor went and I just never bothered to do anything more about it. Where I stood the last time I was at the DMV was that I was probably going to need to get a Title bond.

I understand and it is nothing against you but have to have people follow the rules.

I understand completely! I was just saying that till I could get home at 5 to get the vin. At about 530 the vin will be posted.

I just have had shittay luck with cars. I have dumped so much money into these damn things. I am still paying 325 a month for the prelude. Plus the payment for my civic. It is all just to much. How you been? I have just been working and going to school. Life after 25!

Refer back to the post with the picture in it. We can meet up but you will be seeing my civic not my prelude. Do you think a sane person would sell a 98 prelude running for 1500. I wish someone would do that.. Shoot.

I will get this all out of the way.

I came on here trying to part the car out. Here is the list of what condition it is in.

1. Engine is not working
2. Cracked windsheild
3. Busted out passenger window by a damn theif before I got it in my garage.
4.ABS was not working correctly
5. Engine is sitting in front of the car and the car itself is on jackstands in the front b/c without a engine or tranny it would have been pretty hard to leave them on.
Other than that the body is in ok condition little tlc wouldn't kill it.
Interior is almost perfect.

I don't want anyone saying I didn't tell them the car was not in working order.
For all I know it will take 200 dollars to fix it if you can install a motor yourself. I have no clue. I needed a car and could not wait any longer to get together everything I wanted to do to it. So I go the civic.

I do have the headlight and just make me an offer an I will let you know. At this point I have several people interested in the shell and would probably expect the headlight with it. So let me know what you would pay for it and I will let you know.
