    Default FS GSR Longblock

    hello everyone
    i am selling a GSR longblock form my 1995 gsr. it will include
    Motor
    - Intake Manifold
    - Exhaust Manifold
    - Injectors
    - Fuel Rail
    - Throttle body
    - Alternator
    - Distributor
    miles on the motor is 192500 and is still in my car and running well. i am removing it bc i ran into a little cash and i would like a motor with a little less miles.


    i talked with AAP performance and they informed me that a compression test can be done many different ways and one way they did it could of altered the numbers in some way. the car does burn a little oil and needs new oil rings. if you replaced the pistons and oil rings i think the motor will run just fine. it does now. i put 2000 miles a month on it with no worries. i just have to watch the oil levels if i hit vtec some.
    the price is 1000 obo please dont thow me some bs offer of 500 bucks. they go for 1800 plus shipping on line and i have spoken with a few people (mike for starters) and he told me 1000 is a pretty good deal. so keep the negative comments to your self.
    the motor will be at MSP next week and can be picked up there after it comes out of course. if you want to see it running and drive it or sit in it while i drive it. let me know so we can set it up. i figure people will want to see it runnning before they buy a motor. at least i would.
    well here are the pics
    I will not part out. if you want to part it out you can. it is 2 much of a hassle to drive all the way to MSP to sell you a intake manafold. I am looking for cash to pay for some of the new motor that i just bought.
    i will consider trades for
    clean 16"s with a polished lip plus cash
    turbo stuff for a b series and maybe cash on your part depending on what it is
    TYPE R front and REAR seats doors
    itr lip, or wing plus cash

    thanks man. it is alot of miles. but for some one who wants to do a mild build and part some stuff out, this is a good way to start. PM me with any questions. i am checking the board alot so i should get back to you within a few hours or so

    thanks every one. and ya i thought it was a pretty good price. i am wondering why there is so little intrest. maybe its the miles. o well. if it does not sell in the next 2 weeks or so, i am going to put it on ebay or somthing

    i doubt that mileage would matter .. and plus who runs a stock motor for long?!?! gl with sale bump

    did another compression test to see for my self and a member on this board
    186-182-190-187 it was somthing very close to that. i might be off by a couple or so

    ya me 2.
    well for an update
    the motor is at msp and will be checked out by them and dynoed to see how it is running and get charles to vouch. i will part it out if needed
    the head for 500
    and the block for 450

    i cant believe it is still fs. mainstream has VOUCHED for the motor and honestly, it was dumb for me to even take it out. it runs very well. but some one thow me some offers! i will trade for boost stuff or cash or itr seats. thanks
