    Default How is the Kicker L7 compared to the W7?

    I thought about selling my 1 10w7 and buying two 10's or 12s' of the L7's. But i dont know that much about kickers.

    We (Circuit City) just picked up Kicker, and I've had an L7 in my Lude for the last year, and I can tell ya they hit hard as hell. What kind of car and what kind of amp and I'll tell ya what set up to go with...Not taking anything away from the dub7 but I would go with the Kicker...a helluva lot less expensive too.

    I had 2 15" L7's on Kicker amps in my Yukon for about a year before, and I made the switch to 2 13W7's on JL amps about a year ago and I haven't regretted it one bit.

    I like the W7's more than the kickers in every aspect, especially the SQ. JL > Kicker as far as I'm concerned. Can't touch the range of the JL's.

    From what I have heard, and the enclosures I have heard them in;
    W7=boom,(SPL) lots of it too
    L7= more balanced, less "SPL"
    Diamond Audio= Discriminating SQ ear, still very loud...same price point

    I used an Orion H2 with the full 2500W running to it, and in a ported box hit 141.9 at the I-Media Pro car show. So dont count out the H2, i bought mine for 300

    I hit 152 with my W7's in a full size SUV with only 1000w to each. Add the fact that one of my batteries was dead and my voltage reg in the alt was shot as well haha. Wish I woulda got a chance to meter it at full potential.

    Again, i used 1, not 2 or more, and hit 141.9, i imagine your using 2 w7's. I am not metered with my 2 Orion H2's but i would if i could get another run
