    Default Civic LX 97 rear speaker removal?

    Im trying to replace my speakers
    i have new ones that will match...
    i have right now 15W speakers.. and i got some 40W speakrs i found in the garage..
    that match the spearks.. im trying to replace them..
    whats the 1st step ? please.. thanks

    you have to take out the complete back plastic peeice that covers the back part of your car to get to them...
    You know better; next time will be a ban.

    wow, they made a lot of extra work for themselves, there are plastic clips that hold the factory speakers in, use some pliers and break them off. since they are 6X9's you can turn them sideways and get them out without taking out the entire rear end of the car and screw the new speakers in from the underside of the rear deck with some screws and speed clips. that seems alot easier to me
