running the subs under rms by that much could cause them to blow. It's more often to underpower the subs and blow them, than to over power and blow them. hmm if u are wanting to underpower them this amp might do the trick. you are going to get flamed for that comment. The only way your going to blow a sub by underpowering it is if you clip the signal to the woofer. Clipped signals blow subs, not underpowering them.


what are the coil imperdences for the subs? If they are dual 2 ohm or single 4 ohm, I would get something like a pair of these http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=2425

Ah alright. When i was in training at Circuit City that's what they told me so i either understood it wrong, or they were wrong. Thanks for the correction. btw this sounds a little sarcastic, but i don't mean for it to be.
