    Default 91 explorer no sound

I helped a friend install a cd player today in his explorer. Got everything in and working right, put a cd in and no sound. Checked the fuses everything is good. Luckily I have a sony cd player(his was a sony) so the black plugs on the back matched and we put the cd player in my 240 and everything worked fine. Any ideas?

What year is the model? Does it have premium sound...a factory amp? If so, did you use a factory amplifier integration harness?

Try using the blue/white from the sony to the blue/white from the ford. It sounds like you used the solid blue without a white stripe.
