    For the 12", it is 2.0 cuft. Now remember the sub is extremely large, so to end up with 2.0 cuft, the enclosure needs to be around 2.5 cuft...so when you drop the sub in it killing about .5 cuft with the displacement.

    Volume - 2.0 cuft
    Tuning - 34Hz
    Port Diameter - 4"
    Port Length - 8"

    1.3 cuft, so around 1.8-2 cuft to start with before adding the sub.

    to say the sub will take .5 cubes away from the box is nuts! I have an RE XXX 15d2. The sub mounts into the box with a height taller than a 2 Liter bottle of coke. Even with a sub that is taller by 2 inches than a 2L bottle of coke with a monster of a basket it only takes up .27 cubes of disp. In fact the only sub I know of that has that kind of disp. is the 22 inch sub from Atomic, and the MTX jackhammer. the 22 or 24 i forget now lol. half a cube of disp is alot of space for a subs motor and basket to take up.
    Mods- High flow cat, Flowmaster stage 2 exhaust, Intake, Lots of wiring upgrades, h/o alt, 2 18's walled, off 8000 rms custom interior VERY LOUD (152.3) on music and a 156.6 outlaw.( system sounds alot like this!!!

    You need to choose 2 of your own dimensions. If this is going in the trunk of a car, then the easiest way to do it is choose you width and height. Then calculate how deep you need to make it. Measure how wide you can go, measure how tall you can go, and then calculate how deep you have to go. Then plug it into this.

    (W - 1.5) x (H - 1.5) x (D - 1.5) = 3197 (which is 1.85 cu ft. internal)

    So if you measure that you can go 30 inches wide and 13 inches tall, you plug this in and you get your depth.

    (30 - 1.5) x (13 - 1.5) x (D - 1.5) = 3197
    28.5 x 11.5 x (D - 1.5 ) = 3197
    327.75D - 491.625 = 3197
    327.75D = 3688.625
    D = 11.25 inches

    So this leaves your box measuring 30 x 13 x 11.25 on the outside with a volume of 1.849 cu ft inside.

    Sorry, don't know where I got 1.85 from, you said 1.8...same deal...

    (W - 1.5) x (H - 1.5) x (D - 1.5) = 3110.4 (which is 1.8 cu ft. internal)

    So if you measure that you can go 30 inches wide and 13 inches tall, you plug this in and you get your depth.

    (30 - 1.5) x (13 - 1.5) x (D - 1.5) = 3110.4
    28.5 x 11.5 x (D - 1.5 ) = 3110.4
    327.75D - 491.625 = 3110.4
    327.75D = 3602.025
    D = 11 inches

    So this leaves your box measuring 30 x 13 x 11 on the outside with a volume of 1.801 cu ft inside.
    "Cool car" less.

    I havent looked at theirs lately, but unless they fixed it, it wasnt correct. It was telling you to make the port too short. You would end up having a 3 or 4hz higher tuning than it said.
