eclipse help
so this morning a get up and head for work
get in the car and turn the key nothing happens pop the hood and notice my + terminal is loose so i tighten it up and get in the car and my h/u is blinking help
and has 7a800621 showing up...
i called eclipse and they want 25$ to unlock it does any one know what else i can do besides getting rid of this h/u and getting another one.... i want to so bad but i am low low low on money

and if you do not feel like looking heres what the guy posted as the first soultion
"on the bottom of all eclipse units to my knowledge is two (2) solder
points that are visible through the chasis, if you take something like
a paper clip and open it up so you got a "V" shape, you can make
contact with these two terminals, and that should reset everything
back to factory specs, that is what eclipse does when you (as the
registered owner) send your unit in to them when it (the H/U) sceams
"call 800", or "help"... and this will save you a two to four week
wait, BUT YOU DIDN'T HEAR THIS FROM ME, I don't want someone at
Eclipse getting pissed at me because "I Let Out Their Secret"

Or you could put int he "key" CD you used to set up the unit with.

Did they just unlock it or did they eset it so you don't need the key if the HU eve loses powee again?

i called eclipse.
and i can vouch for his system... it POUNDS!!!!!!!!!! unlike any thing i have ever heard. i wont be surprised if it woke up a whole apartment complex while he is driving down the street
well I have had letters from my home owners association saying that multiple members of my comunity have had issues with me and my loud car radio as they put it. I asked for a list of the people who complained because I wanted to go personally and appologize for all the issues that I may have caused. after getting the 5 or 6 person list I realized 2 of the ppl lived 2 roads over in my neighborhood LOL. atleast a block away. they said that from time to time their pictures on all the walls would viberate lol. I said sorry and try to keep my system off during the neighborhood. Once I'm on the road F the rest of the ppl. LOL.

lol Have been pulled over 1 time for it. the cop said the screen on his laptop was waving from the bass lol. I have fun with it. I need a new amp for the sub. something that will run at 1 ohm about 2500 rms. 2000 would work but 2500 would set the sub on fire lol. its rated at 2000 rms 4000 peak. but it really needs 2500 to come to life. What you heard was only at 1000 rms. It would be 2 times louder. I'd come close to blowing the rear window with that much power.

I will just call BS on all these claims.
My old system was topping 147 on the termlab to 38hz and you could hear it across the street, but it was rattling any pictures.

The time I met him and he showed me his system it pounded. And he did not turn it up much but yeah I can vouch that it hits like a mofo!!!!!!!!!!

Dodge, I used to have 2 of those same subs in 10.5cu tuned to 33hz with 160" of port. Loud as fuck, but still not rattling pictures 2 blocks away.
I was also running about 15.5v on a mmats d3000.05. Subs saw about 1300wrms each after box rise.
u ran these exact same sub when? new or old style. at 1300 rms for 4000 rms thats junk. I am tuned @ 32 with a truck... less interior airspace. (only 52 cubes of A/S in the truck.) with plenty of sound deadining everything goes rite thru the window. its actually very ez with the rite circumstances to make pics shake lol. BTW this is what i was told by HOA did not c it first hand but im the only person who has a system so.... IDK

I had my XXXs back in 04 through 05. I believe they were rated at 1500wrms at the time. I do miss my. XXXs.
LOL, that Kenwood system I am doing for $200 can be heard over a block away...that is not impressive. Hell, in my Accord, I have 1 12" DB Drive Platinum Sub running at 1200rms in a 3 cuft vented enclosure. It is in a trunk of a sedan facing the top of the trunk (which is not the best set-up for a trunk) and I hit 146.9 on a termlab. It can be heard from more than 2 blocks away.
Not trying to start anything, just sayin'.

im only running a 2000 watt rms sub... at 1000 rms lol. im running @ half power an the real box size ported 4 this sub is around 6-10 cubes and the box im running is around 4.3 cubes @ 32 htz
