    Default New System, ipod question

I jus got a system (2 12's, 3000w amp, and ported box), and its hooked up, but the bass wont play thru the aux where my ipod is hooked up. The installers said I needed an ipod plug that plugs into the bottom of the ipod, and plugs into the back of the cd player, but not in the aux port. What kind of plug is it, and what does it look like b/c I already have an rca cable going from my ipod to the aux port in the rear of the cd player. Someone help me out PLZ!

Did you make sure the bass was not at zero or below for the AUX section? On that model, each playback (cd, radio, aux, changer) can be set differently for bass and treble. So you need to check the AUX settings.

You need Panasonic CA-DC300U for the Ipod direct connection. Here is the cheapest place I found...

    http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-PANASONIC-CA...d=p3286.c0.m14

It is about $20 cheaper than what I would sell it for.

Yeah, I would look at getting a new one. Panasonic CD players were decent...even owned one myself, but I think other brands are better.

If you want to try to find the exact part, I would call Panasonic.

If you need a new CD player for the low low, I have Sony Refurbished for $65 with full warranty. They also play MP3...my normal price on them are $95 for a MP3 model. 70% of the time, the CD player is brand new and was only repacked.

Well its a dvd/cd player and I have a tv screen in the dash, got any type of deal on something like that? Or a deal on any double din touchscreen dvd/cd/ipod ready/gps player? And I called Panasonic, and they dont have a part for my player, so if I want to play my ipod, and hear the bass, i have to buy a new player like you guys said

The indash cd/dvd players, are they ipod ready? Can I just plug in my ipod and be able to hear the bass and everything?
