Whats the best onboard hd camera that is small for use on a motorcycle? Good sound would be a big plus? Anybody?

the gopro cameras are great for the money...i sell the motorsports hero 5 model for $130 all day.
not HD but nice fisheye shot at 5.0 mp, 2048x1536 resolution...30 minute video is about a gig, holds up to 8 gigs at a time...
www.goprocamera.com watch the videos on the gopro site because the youtube videos are all quality cut to save space.

i have a gopro hero wide, and it's a pretty cool little camera for sure. I believe there is one called a Flip or something like that that is offered in HD. Lemme see if I can find it and I will edit in a link.
    Who knows?

gopro has nothing HD...the motorsports 5 wide is their top of the line...still not bad at all for the $$$

there is another nice company called motocam360, their cheapest package starts at $600 for a helmet lipstick camera, motorcycle grip control and wireless remotes....more bells and whistles it seems...quality seems to be lacking 720x480 @ 30fps?? dunno the fps on the gopros
motocam offers the data acquisition interfaced with the video as a $200...might be nice, depending on what you will be doing.

    Found the link: http://www.theflip.com/products_flip...specs.II.shtml

i wasn't saying gopro makes a hd camera, i was saying that FLIP does. it is 4"x2"x1" so pretty small, and the 8gb model comes with a waterproof case that looks similar to the gopro case, so i imagine mounting it would be fairly similar.
    Who knows?
