Default Best Bluetooth Head Units? for the buck

    Hey all,

Need some help choosing a good bluetooth head unit. I want to listen to my iphone through my cars stereo while driving.

I am not looking to spend a lot but if its a necessity for quality to be good I need to know.

    Thanks all!

I could risk a little more money on an lcd head unit if its worth the money. heres one I saw that looked pretty cool:

I hate Sony but they make a very cheap bluetooth headunit that lights up blue that has a built in mic on the face plate that works very well. my girl has a german pioneer unit in her BMW that has built in bluetooth that comes with a internal mic and an external mic so u can choose which one you want and has RDS built in and she paid a lil over $275 4 it and thats a great price 4 the features.

The problem with the Sony Bluetooth CD Players is that for some reason on the models (not sure if they changed this), but the mic was BEHIND the faceplate. So the people could hardly hear you. I had to relocated the mic for 1 of my customers BMW. So it was mounted next to the CD Player. Besides that, they are fine.

I bought this unit and I'm pleased with it http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entert...ver/KDC-MP342U

Got it at bestbuy for $150ish. It's got bluetooth and a front usb that supports flashdrives and ipods. I haven't tried out the bluetooth yet, but if i ever get around to it, i'll let you know.

I have 2 pioneer headunits with blue tooth and I must say they work great!

I had this model in my bronco, great quality with beefy preouts (50w RMS per channel I believe), but its a single din, so baller status goes down a bit. I will say though, since the blue tooth is built in, it works seamlessly. Greatest user friendly bluetooth unit I've ever messed with.

And in my L i'm running a pioneer double din touch screen with a seperate bluetooth module added. It piggy backs off of the main unit, but controls through the radio, just like a non-usb ipod connection does.

A little more baller, and has pretty decent mixer (although truthfully not as good as the single din)

For quality, wired with the dock connector is the best way to go. If you have OS 3.0, you can now connect wirelessly with your radio with bluetooth, no connections whatsoever
