pulling old alarm, and installing new?

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. NO NO NO. Do not do this. No installer in their right mind will touch the car when (not if, WHEN) you fuck it up trying to swap an alarm yourself. I hate getting people in my install bay that think they could "do it themselves." I delight in charging them tons extra for all the added aggravation that they cause. Today I had somebody who said he could install a radio cut the wiring harness with scissors and short out his body control module.

Usually when people come in with a cutoff harness...I just get the factory harness. All the colors match so it is easy to put i back to stock and then do a normal installation.
