    I have the amp posted above. I am wondering if it is okay to really load it at 1ohm or just keep it at the 4ohm load that I have it set up now.

    That amp will run fine at 1ohm all day.

    As long as the speakers can handle it, it should run fine. I'd give it some breathing room though, my bd1000 gets pretty warm at a 1ohm load, runs fine though.

    Yeah, it will work perfectly at 1 ohm. I have sold/installed several of them and just about all of them was for 1 ohm usage.
