    Default 1st gen neon

I'm installing door speakers for a friend in her neon. But I can't get the window crank off. How the fuck do you remove the window crank in a 97 dodge neon? Pics would help:boobies:.

it probably has a little clip that hold it onto the shaft.

It might be easier with a window crank pin removal tool. Looks like a spatula with a slot in the middle. Be careful though, as the clip tends to go flying across the garage.

You can probably get the tool at a car parts store for just a few bucks....under $10

Oh shit, that took me a good hour or two to figure out. I used a knife, you just have to stick it under the handle and hope you get the pin off. It's annoying as fuck.

I usually just slip the bottom hem of my t-shirt in between the crank and the door panel and start wiggling it around until the pin pops loose.

I would personally just get rid of the Neon. Tell her to buy a real car and then get speakers.
