    Default Amp Issues

    Hey everyone,
Alright so the problem i am having is the amp. When ever i turn on the car, the amp turns on then off. After it is off and barely blinks and the subs barely hit. I tried another amp that i had, and it does the same thing. I have a new battery(replaced it today actually old one was only cranking 200 amps i think), I replaced the in line fuse in the engine compartment, still the same issue. I am running 4 gauge power wire to a 1.5 cap, then to the amp. I disconnect the cap and put the amp straight to the batter and the same problem. Is it possible the power wire is bad? I am also about to go replace the Neg so thats still in the air also. Anyone else has any other ideas?

check the voltage at the amp, it may not be turning on due to low voltage.

Poor connection from the battery, or maybe a bad or incorrect connection behind the radio for the amp turn on wire.
