You say the the amp is still on, but no sound...?
Possibly you blew the sub. If you can, disonnect your sub, and temporarily hook up another. See if that fixes it.
Of, if you have access to one, check the impedence of the woofer with a multi-meter. This will also help indicate if there is a problem with the sub.
