im lookin to get a good set of 6x8 for my f150 a set for front and 1 for the back. what would yall go with based off your personal experiences. looking to send around $150ish per set. also an amp to drive them. the amp has to be something small do to limited space but have to have enough power to drive all four speakers.

We shoehorned (and sawwed) a set of MB Quart 6"x9" coax in F150 door, and they rocked, A LOT of midbass. You can find them in your budget on e bay....but be prepared to trim, bend, wrestle and curse a little. It'd be easier to do 6" coax in a baffle, and call it a day.
I may still have a set of MB Q Reference series 6x9s, I'll look and see.

i think it would sound better if you got some or made some MDF 6x8 to 6.5" adapter plates and use some XTC 6.5 foam baffles from crutchfield as a semi enclosure and you cant go wrong
