    Just wondering if they are still a good company to buy speakers from. I know absolutely nothing when it comes to car audio.

    If you are on a tight budget, and want somewhat decent sound, sure. I remember about 5 or 6 years ago I had some of their seperates 6.5s and they sounded pretty good to me.

    I know for a fact there are better speakers out there, but they worked great for me on the budget I was working with. This is just my opinion, but good luck with what ever you choose !!!

    They have come a long way, but they are still on the low-budget end. Not bad if you don't want to kill your wallet as previously stated

    the RF power coax's are pretty damn good sounding for the price!

    blaupunkts are good speakers. their thin line series is really impressive. i had them in my old miata
    I NEED POSITIVE REPS PLEASE!

    its a budget speaker...i actually ended up with a set of their clear blue **** a few years back, decent midrange...nothing impressive though

    Blaupunkt is a German brand man. I dont care if you call it budget or not, hands down for the money they sound better then any Sony, Pioneer, or kenwood in the same price range. heck to me they even sounded better then some Memphis speakers that I got that were twice as expensive .

    I agree with most of your statement. Most of memphis speakers were designed for an external amplifier with the exception of the entry level coax's.
