Just run the wire that should go to the parking brake to a ground and install a switch before the ground. The switch will act as the parking brake.

If you just ground it then it will never play video on the move.

The cheap easy way is to hook up the brake switch wire to the brake wire in the vehicle then use a toggle to trigger the parking brake wire on the alpine with a ground. simple fix but just go get the pac piece... its so much easier

not every unit can be bypassed by grounding it. the newer alpine and the d-310 require a tr-7, some of the jensen, dual, clarion, and valor need a switch. and kenwood, panasonic, older alpine, eclipse, jvc etc.. can be grounded
    RESIZE PIC PLEASE
