Default MA AUDIO HARD KORE 15" 5000/10,000 WATTS

i've got the old school (2003) ma audio hard kore 15. these things handle 5k rms and 10k peak. just wondering if anyone has had any kind of experience with these.

im not as into car audio as i once was. now im just into clean sound..i've had it laying around and cant decide whether i should sell it or not..

just seeing if anybody has heard these things under full potential and if so...how was it? thanks

clean sound your not going to get with the ma. thats a spl comp sub that requires a lot of fucking power. witch means upgrading electrical system. and ends up being a money pit. get something like a polk audio SR 10 or 12 real clean sub and it pounds.
    RESIZE PIC PLEASE

wow,a cap. I have been told I needed a cap 1 time. I had about 3500 worth of stuff sitting the on the counter when he said that. I took my card back and walked out. Anyone trying to sell you a cap is only trying to take your money.

95% of the time, that is true...they DO have their place in car audio...just not what most folks use them for.

I have 1/5F cap in my system...for the radio!!!!

if you use a cap as what its disigned for then its not a waste but if you buy it thinking its gonna stop my head lights from dimming then it is a waste. Even Most highly knowledges installers dont even know the true purpose and benifits of a cap. Their not a waist but their not needed in every application.

Hybrid, after talking to Gary Biggs a couple years ago, I learned a couple uses for caps, but like you said, only used in highly specialized cases. Mainly to smooth out the ripples in current usage. They actually help your battery more than they help your amps.

i have 2... 1.5 farad caps.. the only reason i have those are for SHOW purposes.. the digi output reads the color i want .. thats it i mean.. HIGH OUTPUT alternator FTW but thats what ppl use them for.. Steve Meade.. when i meet him when he still had the honda with the RE 18's i talked to him for an hour and a half this was before i got mecp certified.. and he explained to me how people are told to use caps and later on down the like have current issues and how they say 6 months from now the system doesn't bump as loud as it did.. so me.. i just got them for show.. Jimmy pm me the shop so i know not to go there ever lol

I have one MA Audio Hard Kore 12" in my pathfinder. They hit hard....my sub is rated for 1500RMS and 3000Peak. I am only running 900RMS for now. It is in a vented Probox.
