    Default Alpine being screwey!

    I have a CDA-7998 that i have had for about 2 years this particular unit folds into the dash when off. Recently it has not been folding in when the car is turned off, and other times it will sound a long beep fold out and freeze. The buttons beep but dont function, I cant turn down the volume or do anything! It is really annoying because the only way to reset it is by turning the car off and back on again.

    Anyone heard of the problem? It seems like a software problem but I just want to find out how to fix it if I even can.

    I've seen those units, But not that problem, Have you tryed calling
    Alpine??
