Don't hold me to it, but you may have to take the panel off. Like I said before I have never messed with a factory sub set up. I would have to see it to be able to figure it out...lol

its kinda hard to explain but i can actually see the magnet on the sub when i use a flathead, like when im trying to pull it off...ha idk if that made any sence but i can get the flathead inbetween the sub and the panel if thats any better

but idk ill give that a try and see if itll work thanks for the suggestion

ive taken one out on an expedition.

--hard way-all i had to do was remove the small side panel unscrew and pry it out. like dracc11 said it is sealed to the side of the car.

--easy way-if its blown and you want it to STFU you can always just cut the wires.

Have you tried taking the entire panel off, not just prying the sub out? It may help to see it from the other side. IDK.

nah i havent....i was kinda trying to avoid that. i also think that wouldnt do anything cuz i can see the sub fine and all but its just like somethings holding it back and even if i do take off my entire panel i cant see behind the sub.

Weird. I figured youd be able to see behind it that way. Sometimes its something simple holding your car together. Many a time Ive been prying at things on my car only discover a hidden screw or bolt as I'm about to break something.
