Default how to make a fiberglass enclosure

hey ya'll -- so I just go ta 97 civic hatch and am a bit dissapointed at the lack of any premade sub enclosures for it, SO, I was wondering if anyone had any good resources on how to build a custom fiberglass enclosure.

I have never used fiberglass, so I don't even really know how to make ANYTHING with it -- perhaps someone can give me some pointers, a good website, anything -- I dont' even know where to buy fiberglass (resin?)

I would like to use the space in the trunk, the area from the rear strut to the tail lights - I've already cut out the plastic paneling there when trying to fit a focus svt box back there (it was an ugly fit), and I've built normal square boxes before, but that wouldn't really work here.

can anyone help out? (perhaps there's something other than fiberglass that'll work as well?) and I have heard that it's hard to do, but I still want to learn!!

    thanks in advance!

That's the only one you'll ever need.

I used it, having never done any fiberglass before, and came out with this:

yeah, home depot/lowes are fine, but depending on how big your project is you might want to go to a boating supply store like West Marine.
