    Default AMP TROUBLE

    wats good IA...
    i have a JL w3v2 with a 250/1 amp...
its been working great until my ground wire and battery wire got yanked out cuz i turned a lil too quick... then when i went back to see why my bass stopped... i guess my wires touched and started sparking green light and stuff... andd.... i put the wires back in... but amp power light is not turning on...
so... please some one tell me what happened... i didnt think the sparks would matter much cuz it didnt do much damage to the wires at all... but... whys the amp not turning on... did i fry it? do i need to reset my battery? is it the wires? someone please help me out here... how can i fix this????????????????

    any input appreciated!~

have you checked the fuses yet? My guess is that you blew the fuse on the power wire.

Amp trouble...sound like driving trouble..... J/K

Seems like the suggestion of checking the fuse might be the first place to look...

yeah sound like a fuse, if you check the fuses by eye and their look good but on sound get a meter and check the voltage on both end of the meter, large in-lines fuse are notorious of blowing but not actually showing any physical sign of being blown until you check with a meter
