He can get a job, there are plenty out there. I had a real hard time when I was 16, I must have applied everywhere. Most people I know just have a friend who works somewhere who vouches for them and then they get a job easily. I worked at a golf course the summers of sophomore, junior, and senior year. I wouldn't reccomend it, I would say bust tables somewhere.

    Exactly.

But I would never drive around food all day. I don't even like take out cause I don't want it to smell up my car or spill.

Delivery Jobs Suck if they are with your own car, on the other hand if its a company suppiled vehicle then its cool IMO. But yeah any restraunt will take him to bus tables and after hes been there awhile ask to be a server.

Quiktrip is probably one of the best PT jobs out there for a 16 year old. They pay close to 9 bucks and hour w/ other benefits and the only gas station that will hire under 18.

I worked there when I was 16, ( damn almost 12 years ago) and was making a kick ass 6.25.. Oh yea!!

Doesnt sound like alot.. But gas was around $.49 to $.55 cents!!

not that I doubt this....but I worked at target in roswell when I was 16. We sold beer, I was a cashier and I was able to ring it up.

Everyone had to go to the roswell courthouse and get a "liquor licence" which was just a card with your picture on it and it cost like 5 bucks.

    On a side note..

I got my current job when I was 17 about 2 months before I turned 18 and have been there for almost 5 years now.

He can find a job just let him know he's probably going to have to start at the bottom and work his way up because most places are not going to hire a 17 year old with no experience and pay him $10 an hour.

If he isn't scared of working hard, he can always get into some construction work. A friend of mine started doing construction when he was 15. 10 years later he was running his own company with 8 crews and pulling down a lot more than I make. All he did was work hard and pay attention.

I might actually know a crew tha might need another helper.

yeah, construction is a good job. usually starts at 10 an hour. hard work though. decent job if the people you work with are good.

16 years old, i worked at publix
17 years old, i worked at hollywood video
18 years old, i worked at roadhouse grill
19 years old, i worked at starbucks.

im 21 now and i still work at starbucks. they pay very well for the crap you do. if u can put up with the snobbiest, bitchiest, and most spoiled people and their attitudes, then its easy. also, chik-fil-a will hire ANYONE. just act churchy and ur in.

he told me his parents bought it(already modded) for him. fyi his younger(18?) brother has a modded vette+civic. pretty sure he doesnt have a fmic. but he did have enough to buy 3 transmissions cause he launches it too high im pretty sure were talkin about the same dude.

but the point is they pay fair. i know another guy my age who has a modded itr and its paid for and he pays insurance on it who works at qt.
