I know exactly how you feel man, apartments willl do everything they can to screw u over as quickly as possible. i had a similarissue when i got out of my last apt the thing was i have military orders to and they somehow lost them and i ended up having to pay like 2grand cause of some bullshit.. the only advice i can say is to try to take it to a lawyer but apt's cover themselves pretty good in theyer contracts so good luck..

yeah i still havent got my lease or the info faxed to me...makes me wonder why...i called 4 times yesterday and still havent gotten it and once i do, im taking it to a lawyer and getting them to read over it. I think they made a HUGE mistake though cause they gave my sister more information than they should have as far as my lease is concerned/was concerned (one agent told her i was an occupant and not a leasee where as another told her i was on the lease itself) but didnt tell her the rent amount when she attempted to pay it for me. I mean im cool with paying 1800 or whatever to keep it off my credit but ill be damned if im paying ALL of it when my roommate is the one who left
