i have a 95 integra ls 2 door, 2 weeks ago i was involved in a hit and run accident where the persosn hit my car on purpose 2 times and then took off...i couldnt chase them because my gas tank was busted so they got away.....i only had liability and uninsured motorist on my car and i have it through safe auto.
i called police and filed a police report, faxed it to my insurance, and my insurance company said they will pay me for my car. They sent an adjuster out to see my car, and told me that it is totaled out, and that they will figure out how much money to pay me, and will be in touch the next day....that was monday, now it is thursday, and i still havent heard anything.

i took it to 2 diffirent shops and 1 said 7,200.00 and the other said 6,700.00

The first time they told me they pay me what the dealer would ask for a 95 ls with 135k miles in excellent shape, and that is 5000 according to kbb.com

private party is like 3500 in excellent shape....

then i called back today, and they told me that they havent figured it out yet on how much to pay...anyone have any idea how they figure it out?

i just kinda want to knowhow much money im going to get

I'm pretty sure they are supposed to pay you the full retail value of your car based on whatever appraisal guide they use. I would be concerned about them taking so long. What company is it? If they start messing with you file a complaint with the state insurance commissioner and the attorney general. They take that shit seriously.

i have safe auto, so i know its probably pos and real shitty insurance, but they are doind a lot more than i expected....every time i call they tell me that they are waiting on the valuation of the car to come back....i hope they give me full value, but ima buy the car back, i got a 92 hatch ima do the ls swap on
