He's made comments like this going back 30 years. And most of what he said came out during the campaign in 2004. Yet he was selected by the Democrats to run for President and to be their leader. He's who they wanted, out of every Democrat in the field.

Let me ask you - Are you active duty military, have you ever been in the military, and has anyone in your close family (mom, dad, brothers, sisters, grandparents) been in the military?
if you have to ask me that then you think i feel the same as kerry, which i dont.

yet since you had to ask, yes family members of mine have been in the military, as well as a few of my friends
