here it goes. the anti-climatic awnser you've all bee waiting for.

YOU MAKE THEM DEPENDENT ON YOU!

that's right ladies and gents. think about it like this. a parent(should) has complete control over his/her child because that child depends on the parent to survive. the parents provide the child with food, clothing, shelter, and medical care. you remeber being a kid, right? it was great. no worries, no bills, no rent, you just woke up and went to school, played kickball, probally didn't learn anything and did what you parents told you to.
I know this might be an extreme example but; could said child pack their stuff up in their GI Joe backpack and leave? not bloody likely mate.
so I know you maybe asking yourelf, "self. wtf is he getting at? lolz"

welfare, socialized medicine, disaster relief, etc. if we start depending(and many of us already do) on the gov't for health care(like the elerly), and food stamps/welfare checks we will become dependent on the gov't. afterall if some politician jumps up and says, "vote for me. b/c if you don't the other guy's going to take away your health care." or "if you don't vote for me the other guy is going to take away your welfare check. then how will you feed your 11 kids?" what are you going to do? whatever they tell you to do. ie. keep them in office so they can pass more "helpful" legislation. because after all the gov't exisists to "take care" of you and just like daddy, the gov't knows best.
ok, gotta get back to work. what do you think?
