Oh I'm counting the days, my shits almost over, I came over here August 15 of last year, our tour will be a couple weeks shy of a year and I cant say the exact number of days left, it is low enough to where we all walk around with smiles on our faces now knowing that this shit is almost over.

thats how we do but its hard not to count when you know the number is less than 60 days and it started out as 365, you know how it is.

im in iraq and i dont have pics, all the shit is still in the box but i need pics anyway. i tried to sell the body kit i have with a link to the pic for it but it got deleted so i guess ill just have to wait till i get home, ill end up putting it all on then and i wont get shit for the car when i go to trade it in with a header that isnt street legal.

i think yall are doing a great job over there and all these people over here complaining need to realize that they live in a free country and that without people such as yourself, we would still have a draft. however, i do think there is only so much that we can do over there.. you can only help someone so much before they gotta help themselves. everyone that says "we need to stop policing the world" needs to get a grip. the people that we "police" are a threat to us as well. i think had gore been elected, we would have had another terrorist attack cause hell, him and clinton didnt do anything but shut down bases. anyway, thanks for the hard work bro. i got a buddy over there now in the marines. appreaciate it cause i know i couldnt do it and leave this behind

like i took the pre ASVAB and aced it (only took me like 25 out of the 45 minutes) and my recruiter was like " oh youre qualified for anything". since then, i havent been able to get him or a marine recruiter off my ass.i talked to the marine recruiter though and seemed like i would have enjoyed hat more but when i went home, i knew i couldnt go because if i got shot, my family would not be the same.

its extremly difficult on a family but thanks to the internet i get to talk to my wife, friends and family on a daily basis, multiple times usually. the people here hate us and refuse to work with us, they are tired of seeing us but the local army and police are getting there shit in order and working hard even though they lose people everyday. i get out of the army in october so ill be coming back to georgia but i can see the coast guard in my future.

It's b/c of GA Peaches. We sell Peaches to other countries for cheaper... Iraq found out and got mad at GA. Rest of the country was not gonna let Iraq team up on GA alone so we joined forces.

Question, do you ever feel like you're fighting for a lost cause over there? Would be be considered cruel to just pull out right now?
Me personally, I supported the whole thing at first but now I'm not sure if it was worth it. Yes, Saddam is out but when the citizens do not respect our military for what they are doing then I start to question how important this whole initiative is.
this country is just like ours when it comes to chosing sides, there are the ones who support us being here and see the impact we are amking and there are the ones who think we are only here to take over there country. i never consider it a lost cause though due to the fact that we are ridding the world of dangerous criminals every day.
Shouldn't you be doing something more constructive then sitting online all day? Someone check is IP.
