im tryn to buy a car from a person in illinois. but i dont know if i should. she said we would go throuht square trade so i could not be cheated and if i did not like the car i could return it and get my money back have you guys delt with square trade or herd of them

I'ave heard of them, ebay uses their services. Pretty good from what I've heard.

ebay uses their services, they do charge though.

their really usefull if your dealing with high cost items. Well worth it IMO esp for something like a car.

And yeah Ebay uses them so i've dealt with them alot.

i know that alot of the scammers use square trade!!! did you talk to them over the phone, or completely through emails??

oh yeah, if you go with purchasing the car, make sure you go directly to square trades website, one time i tried to buy something and they sent me a link to a fake sight that looked identical, onjloy difference was that the url address was not right!! be careful!!

yeah, try gettin a contact number, 9 times out of 10 they will give you a number that is international, which is usually a scam
