They scammer just makes a webpage that makes it look like he/she is selling stuff. The person who is getting scammed goes to their site, sees something they like and buys it. The scammer also makes a webpage that looks exactly like paypal and when the person tries to pay for the item they "bought" they have to click on a false link to paypal. The person thinks it's real so they go on putting in their creditcard number and everything. When they send the information to "paypal" the scammer gets all the info about their creditcard number and everything. So now the scammer can go around buying shit with someone elses creditcard. Pretty fucked up isn't it?

i think if you look at the address it will show it is not really paypal. there is an ebay scam as well, but the address is not ebay.

the other side of it are the fake "PayPal" emails asking for your personal info that the site already has on file if you're a memeber.
