i didnt know wheteher to post here or Whorelounge, but my gf was online last night and did a "survey" for a $250 american eagle gift card. well, this morning (wednesday), we get a call at 6AM from some fucker wanting to do crown molding on our "house". i let it go to voicemail once, then the second time i answered calmly. then about 15 minutes later he called again. long story short, he ends up calling SEVEN TIMES and the last time leaves my girl a voicemail saying "I had to pay $50 for your info" and some other shit. Im wondering, since i do have his number, whether i should call him back and bitch him out (seriously considering) and white paging his number, tehn going and calling him bright and fucking early, or calling the BBB, but im not sure what they would do. Any suggestions?? I got like 2 hours of sleep cause this MOFO so im going to get his ass back.

a couple of years ago I did the free xbox. Had to sign up for like 7 things. After all was said and done (9 months later), I didn't get an xbox b/c they were out of stock or something ... BUT I did get a $250 check which made me happy.

I'm sure there was some sort of disclaimer stating that the survey company may sell or share her info with a third party. So don't be surprised if you get more phone calls. They can't call you before 8 am or after 9 pm. I'm sure you registered your phone number with Do Not Call database? If they still call you after that, there are strict liability statutes you can enforce in court. The Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs, the FTC and the FCC can also hold the company liable.

Depending on what the gf clicked, she may have given someone permission to call for a term of 30 days (even if you are on the DNC, you can still get called because of that). If you just added yourself to the list, you have to allow a term of a few weeks to get all the lists synced up.

The fucker called my girl back and made up some BS excuse about who is this guy and some shit and about how he wished i would have started some shit. i called him and told him my manager was an attorney and some shit about how i intern there and hes willing to take the case and he got scared and was like whatever, ill lose her number. told him if i EVER saw his number on her phone again, he now knows i know where he lives and i aint playing.
