I'm Pro-Outsourcing. When I was in China I was working for an IT company that specialized in web application development. Our HQ and all of our clients are located in the US but our team of 30 developers were in Chengdu, China. We didnt target "The Big 5," we simply developed applications for smaller companies at 1/5th the price. Without outsourcing, a lot of smaller companies would not be able to afford such development and wouldn't grow as well as they could.

I could go on and on but I think you get my point.

Simple thought from a simple mind...

America this America that. What it comes down to is a form of racism. That’s the equivalent of a white family telling their kids to ONLY DATE WITHIN YOUR OWN RACE. I hate to tell you this but this world revolves because we, as a world, work together.

"Oh it puts people out of jobs"... Boo fuckin hoo! You shouldn’t have been making 175k a year in the first place. Of course someone is going to do it cheaper. If you want to survive you have to be competitive and that includes pricing.

Here is an example for you. I used to work as an IT recruiter. I would have a job requirement to fill that paid $50 per hour and promised 50+ hours a week. I would call AMERICANS, who normally had very minimal education mind you, offering them a great paying job and they would turn it down because it wasn’t enough. Then I would call, lets say for the example, an Indian man, that lives here and more than likely was sporting a Masters Degree, that was more than happy to accept. This would happen day in and day out for me.
How does this apply? Because we Americans are TOO FUCKING SPOILED!

    And that sir is MY

how is it racism? if a company is going to be based in the united states it should not go elsewhere to hire cheaper work. the company is based here because of the laws that benefit them that they could not get in say, India

and tell me how its a simple thought and how from one statement you assume i have a simple mind? dont think so high of yourself.
the companies are using our country as a headquarters and abiide by our laws because they dont want to abide by the ones in the 'non-free' world.

ok 175k is rediculous but a lot of people who lose their jobs due to outsourcing arent making 175k. the reason the foreigners will take the job at such a low rate is because their cost of living is much lower than the US

What laws? Examples please. I've worked in several other countries BESIDES the US and I have not run across anything of that nature... Please be very specific. What you're saying might sound good but back it up with some facts.

Once again, here is where you are wrong.
Legal Aliens (Non U.S. Citizens) are not here working out of their own pocket. Most of the time they work for somebody who pays their work visa (H1B, T1, etc.) and helps them find jobs.
Now, If I am paying this "foreigner" $50 per hour, the company who is paying his visa gets 20-75% of what he makes leaving $12.5-$40 per hour for the person actually working.
So tell me... all of those tax breaks that I assume you are talking about... does that really add up? Do you still think that their cost of living is lower?

However, if you are talking about foreigners outside of the country, if you read carefully, my example was not using someone outside the country.

99% of the time its not individuals who are contracting from outside of the US, its companies.
