    Default Money Orders?

    how do they work? I never tried it.

    ok i'm going to buy something off of E-Bay. and i ran out of checks and dont expect the checks to arrive until a good seven days. and i dont have a credit card.

    so how do they work? where do i get them, walmart, gas stations, etc?

    any information would be helpful, thanks

    kroger or some type of store like that; publix perhaps?

    QuikTrip sells them for a dollar. Its pretty fast. You go to QT with the cash + $1 and tell them how much you want to make out the money order for. Then you fill out the money order exactly like a check.

    However, the money order will ask you for either your address, or the other person's address, i believe its yours. Then you tear it off, keep the stub, fill in the stuff with your personal information and for your own record, in case the money order gets lost, and just mail it off like a regular check

    what about paypal?, you just have to have a bank account.

    yea i use paypal and it pretty cool, but some peple don't except it, so i usually don't buy from them.

    You can get money orders from your bank and most of them will do them for free.

    if you have a MO more than 300, it is a dollar for every 300, and QT can only sell MO's for 950 dollars to one person in a 24 hour period. yeah, I work there.
