    Default is there a law that gives you more time to fix...

    Is there a law or something that gives you a certain amount of time to fix a vehicle to be in compliance w/ the law after an accident? I got a ticket for a winshield violation while i was waiting on the insurance company to cut me a check to get it fixed, The only thing i used the car to do was take my son to school? ..just looking for some general responses or anything to help i've gotta go to court for the ticket in two weeks.

    Well if not and the accident was not your fault tell the judge what happen if he still charges you then the person at fault should be responsable for it
