Your answers were not the same as mine. I am the only person here to mention the IRS which I thought would be quite obvious. Everyone is talking about turbo tax and websites when the IRS is the receiver and keeper of your tax returns.

Or you can do as I said and retrieve it through your tax preparer. Easier that way as it only took me about 15 minutes.

You also said you thought you could file either way when answering "2) IF a divorce is not final, how do i file? single? married filing seperate?". You can only file married jointly or married separately if you are still legally married on December 31 of the year you are filing for. You cannot file single.

That's IF his divorce isn't final.

But anyway, not going to ague it. I posted to help, not as a pissing contest.
