Default Any Direct TV installers out there?

I was interested in getting Direct TV for the hizzy, but found out when the guy came over that I only had one incoming line and to hook it all up he needed two. He wanted to drill a hole through my interior wall to the outside of my house, which I wasn't to keen on. So, I told him to hold off for a while until I figured something else out.

Now, I understand that with satellite you have to have two incoming lines, but I also heard of a SWM8 switch that you can install to basically convert one line into two (or multiple) lines. Seen here---->http://www.solidsignal.com/prod_disp...ource=googleps

Now, am I understanding this switch thing correctly? Does anyone have any experience with this type of setup?

    TIA
