    Position: Senior Application Specialist (.Net/Sharepoint Developer)
    Location: Atlanta, GA (75/Windy Hill)

    Our client is seeking a Knowledge Services - Senior Application Specialist who possesses a proven record in the architecting, development and support of corporate portals using Microsoft’s SharePoint Portal Sever 2007 in an enterprise environment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
    5 years experience with full life cycle application development and design in a professional environment
    5 years experience with Microsoft technologies to include SharePoint Portal Server 2003-2007, Visual Studio.Net, SQL Server 2000/2005 and Windows Server 2003

    3 years experience with ASP.NET, Microsoft Active Directory support, Exchange Server 2003, Dell server hardware configuration and support

    2+ years experience in SQL Server and understanding of relational databases
    Experience with Custom SharePoint Branding
    Experience with custom SharePoint development
    Outstanding software debugging skills
    Experience with any of the following helpful: XML / XSLT, Web Services, JavaScript, VBScript, HTML, DHTML
    NetApp Filer Support and iSCSI support is a PLUS
    Excellent oral and written communication

    Wow, I didn't know SharePoint has been out that long. Our company is just now going into trials with it. I wonder wtf took so long to adopt it. Everything I've heard about SharePoint is mostly positive.

    Sharepoint is great when it works - but its kinda bloaty and tends to slow down the server. But then again thats any Microsoft product lol.
