Basic Job Function:
This position provides high quality telephonic support and problem
resolution to customers, in a manner that meets or exceeds defined
department objectives to protect and increase LexisNexis revenues. This
position has the primary responsibility of assisting customers with
Billing-related problems, with emphasis on reconciling customer invoices
and posting payments. Billing Support Agents performing at this level
will be required to utilize skills from training, education, experience
or certifications to fulfill their daily responsibilities. In addition,
this position will work in a team environment to maximize individual and
team performance.
Qualifications:
H.S. Diploma or GED (BS Preferred). Previous experience required in a
telephonic or personal customer contact position. Customer service
orientation, telephonic support experience, basic PC knowledge, working
knowledge of Windows operating systems, fluent with Internet and
mainstream web browsers. LN products experience a plus.
Accountabilities:
1. Telephonic Billing Support Agents spend at least 85% of the time in
direct telephonic support of customers. This work includes utilizing
department tools, resources, business judgment and expertise, resulting
in increased customer confidence in using LexisNexis products.
Individuals are expected to perform as positive role models by
demonstrating continuous performance improvement, solid business skills
and support of department and company objectives. Individuals must
achieve established goals for call performance. Individuals must also
maintain customer satisfaction and confidence by representing the
Company in a positive manner while complying with established
confidentiality and privacy policies. 2. Non-Telephonic Support is
between 5% -- 15% . This position's non-telephonic deliverables
facilitate continual improvement of personal and team performance and
overall department operations.
