Default does anyone here deliver pizza?

i was thinking about this for some extra cash. something part time, or late night. a friend at school does it and says the money is decent, but the simple fact that the place he works for charges 2 bucks as a delivery fee and now people don't tip alot of the time.

which ones don't charge for delivery?

does anyone here work for one, and care to discuss this a bit?

when i worked for pizza hut, all pizza places charged a delivery charge simply because if u dont get any tips all night long then your screwed. they have to charge the buyer something so that the driver doesnt have to come out of pocket on bad nights.

I worked at papa johns and we had a $2 delivery fee. They money is good, but not every day. I worked 4 till 10 pm. Some days i would go home with $80-100 in tips, and some days i only made $20. It all depends on the days you work, and where you work. Of course weekends are better and I worked in alpharetta and almost all my customers were living good.

i delivered pizza for 2 years in riverdale...not the nicest area but still...if you are just looking for a little extra cash it's decent pay...i would make anywhere from 100 to 500+ a week just depends on the days and shifts...

all of them charge for delivery.

you make minimum wage + tips... then you get like 1.35 per run.

people DO tip, just not as much as they should. either way, its a decent amount of extra cash.

I delivered for Johnnys Pizza in Sandy Springs for a year and they do not charge for delivery so tips were pretty good. ON good weekends I made $200 easily. One week when one driver quit and the other was suspended I made $1000. You just gotta be fast. A gps comes in handy.
