The evidence is documented in the 9/11 report. Yes, the same one that says there's no connection between 9/11 and Saddam Hussein.

However, there is a very large difference between Al Queda, and 9/11. The report specifically says that though Hussein did not appear to have any ties to the engineering of 9/11, he DID have dealings with Al Queda. When the media got ahold of the 9/11 report and started trumpeting that one of the president's 'cornerstones' for war in Iraq was discounted because there was no connection between Al Queda and Hussein (but of course, the media is a corporate controlled right-wing propaganda machine!!11one), the chairman of the 9/11 commission (a staunch and rather outspoken democrat, btw) was quoted as saying that that's not what the report said at all, and she didn't understand what the fuss and mischaracterization was about.

There's also things like documented and photographed meetings in Prague between Hussein's spymaster and Mohammed Atta (one of the hijackers).

The problem here is that you seem to consider yourself politically active, or at least informed, but had no idea of any of this.

My mission will be complete if you can come out of this understanding the bias and misinformation in your own partisan dealings.
