I dont see whats so bad about her admiting that if Russia invades a known ally to us, we shouldnt help out.
but then again, Russia DID INVADE Georgia, and we didnt do anything.

I'm quite familier with the word, "ally." All I'm saying is that democrats need an unaffiliated spokesperson to call her a crazy idiot right about now. No circling around the issue just say it loud and clear. I'd read the quote again if I were you.
Thing is that Georgia has the same situation as Russia has with Chechnya. And they were doing about the same type of operations there..... bad nasty operations you know. See Georgia wants to join NATO and in order to do that, Georgia must crush the Ossetian opposition. Which Georgia launched a massive bombardment of Gori before the olympics. And since the Ossetians look to Russia for help, Russia went in to help the Ossetian people.
And see according to western media Russia has been the enemy for the past 50 years and they dont like to change that. When in fact Georgia is pretty bad too. But Russia<Georgia according to America.
Its a super touchy complex situation with grey splattered all over. If anything Georgia shouldnt be allowed into NATO because they invaded S. Ossetia (its a de-facto independant nation with its own government and has been at war with Georgia since 1991.)
Going to war with russia over something as grey and complex as the caucaus situation would be so red-neck of america.

Maybe that we sent over 500 Marine marksmenship and close combat instructors and an entourage of administrative and legal support to Georgia in order to train their troops to help us in Iraq.
Only problem...after 1.5 years....they still weren't ready and less than 100 Georgians actually helped us out in our efforts.
Yah...we own NATO for sure, but once again..do we know what the hell we are doing? Probably not.
This isn't the worst summer I've had around Savannah.

I agree with this. There is far too much that isnt being told by the emdia about the issues with Russia.
Now I do see Russia slipping back towards communism which, IMO, does make them an ememy again.
communism is not what its called. The United States does the ass stuff, yet we arnt communist.
