I am in school for other things. And outside experience? Like other restaurants? No. I left that business awhile ago for bigger and better things.

I am pretty knowledgeable tho about the whole thing, schools, cooking stuff that most people have no idea about, how to cook different stuff different ways, and so on.

TheGrillMan was going to Le Cordon Bleu before he moved to FL. He's supposed to be moving back sometime soon but is getting his tattoo work done. Need some info? I can hit him up.

I used to have kitchen ceritifcation equivalent to a 3 star Chef.

I finally decided to get out before I lost my passion for cooking.

Le Cordon Bleu is pretty good, esp for local. Johnson and Wales or CIA is really where its at though

i just got my AS from le cordon bleu

    working on my BS now

awsome school and theres one in atlanta,

have you ever worked in a kitchen or anything of that sort? school is very expinsive and very fast paced to train you for what a busy kitchen is like

and like other have said the culinary institute of america is prob the top school in the world, with lecordon bleu a close 2nd and johnson and whales 3rd IMO

also depends on what your looking for

just a degree in food any are good schools

baking and pastry tho id suggest the CIA

My buddy is a personal chef and he travels the world with his boss. In fact he owns two condos in Miami and his boss holds the note on one of them for a sum of 1% interest on a million dollar condo. Also they brought his a new Audi S5 with all the works, paid in full for his birthday.

Le Cordon Bleu is the best in GA. Also less expensive than AI. If you compete in all of the competitions they have you can win scholarships, but I don't know how often they do those now or any other details. Just be ready to work long ****ty hours, have no free time, and not get paid well for several years out of school. Try to get a job at the Cherokee Town Club if you can. They have the only Master Chef I know of in the SE as their EC. Working for a Master Chef will look better on a resume than just about anything else.
