I look as cracker as they come, but growing up in Kentucky in the 80's in a multiracial family, I can tell you discrimination still occurs, but I can also tell you it's not as bad as it used to be.

My thoughts are I'd rather have a president that sits in office for 8 years and accomplishes nothing than one that tries to mold parts of the world into his image with the force of the military, especially because that military is made up of people I served with once upon a time.

Ask your self if you're any safer now than you were 8 years ago? Then ask yourself if it was worth the decline in the value of our currency, decline of international view of our country, lives lost, endless amounts of wasted tax dollars.

If you want to continue looking at the small picture of race and party lines go right ahead, but any person with a masters degree in international relations is who we need in office right now. Even if it's awkward because of a lack of experience, or plan, the approach and vision of anything that is not the same old thing can go a long way.

So what if he wants to talk to "axis of evil" leaders, if that's what those leaders little egos need to placate them so be it, if it's a larger issue then a face to face will give him a much clearer picture than some analyst spouting off the oh so dead on accurate threat assessments compiled by our flawless intelligence agencies.

I'd love to see a "******" and a "*****" in the Whitehouse in a capacity other than ancillary role, not only because they're more than qualified, but because it'd make so many people roll around on the floor and throw temper tantrums. I think it'd finally polarize a good portion of the country, that, and I'd love to hear Neal Bortz suffer a fatal stroke on air.
