    Now Obama.

Most of them got to power by building upon racist talk and instilling fear in their constiuents

Look at the most RACIST organizations in the country. NAACP?

    Come on wake up.

Close minded? Me? no im just educated.

Mccain vs Obama recent polls show mccain up+3.
Hmmm......How is Obama using RACE to instill fear?

Actually let me start here: I don't support all of what Jesse and Al do or say, but you have to remember where they came from!

They do not drop the racist ball SIMPLY because there is a WHITE RACIST waiting to pick it up. Blacks (or, African Americans) went through alot of **** sir, and you know what, that "****" is still in society today. The difference is that it now trickles to the work place (ALOT) when it comes to raises/promotions, and other social issues. Its disguised! The second Al or Jesse leaves the small issues alone, the RACIST population will emerge worse than ever! Sharpton instills the FEAR in those who are RACIST to remind them that they will not get away with it. I commend them for their acts, w/o them, America could sure start to revert back the "old times"

The NAACP is not racist......I am a member, and the purpose is a follows:

The primary purpose of the NAACP is to ensure political, educational, social, and economic equality for minority groups in the United States. The NAACP presently ensures equality for all minorities and holds beneficial programs such as career fairs to aid the groups in finding work. Other programs such as Financial Empowerment Initiative, Armed Services and Veteran’s Affairs, Health, Labor, Religious Affairs, and Voter Empowerment also contribute in aiding the minority groups.

Why is it needed, you may ask. It is to ensure the MAJORITY in this country do not SCREW ANY FURTHER the minorities in AMERICA.

    What else....hmmmm.....

Give Obama his credit, he got where is for being who he is. He cares about the people, not his own face in the history books. He is educated enough to get the nomination from his state, his party, and ultimately the respect of the new and old generation.

BTW, that Hiliary chick brought up the RACISM, lol. Obama merely stated the need for a more unified country, being that it is so diverse.

Spoken like a person who wants a handout

GImme a break, slavery was over 100 years ago. This is the problem with society.

NAACP is the most RACIST organization in the country PERIOD. I dont have to site the numerous reasons why.

I want to go on an on about how stupid , idiotic and ignorant you are. You and the rest of "black america" with your feelings need to wake up, stop blaming the white man, and take control for yourself.

    I shall assure you sir:
    1) I do not want a handout
    2) I do not expect a handout

Now sir, you seem to not be able to have a discussion without calling names. It seems that you have a few personal issues that you need to settle with yourself.

BUT, because I have nothing better to do, I will entertain you further.

No one is blaming the "WHITE MAN" for anything. I posted based on the fact that there are still issues that arise where SOME people, who have the RACIST MINDSET of the PEOPLE 100 years ago, that could give 2 cents about civil rights.

I am proud to be me, proud to know my history, proud to be American. I gained my education, took care of business, and seem to be a good citizen.

Funny though.......you call ALL black people idiotic and ignorant.....and stupid....

    Damn Mike, I didn't know

Whats so racist about a group of people deciding, if we arent gonna be treated fair because we are black. Than we will take care of ourselves...

You say black people want handouts all the time..BUT at the same time you talk so much **** about the things that were created because blacks werent being treated fair.

    NAACP
The NAACP was formed in response to the 1908 race riot in Springfield, capital of Illinois and birthplace of President Abraham Lincoln. Appalled at the violence that was committed against blacks, a group of white liberals that included Mary White Ovington and Oswald Garrison Villard, both the descendants of abolitionists, issued a call for a meeting to discuss racial justice. Some 60 people, only 7 of whom were African American (including W. E. B. Du Bois, Ida B. Wells-Barnett, and Mary Church Terrell), signed the call, which was released on the centennial of Lincoln's birth. Echoing the focus of Du Bois's militant all-black Niagara Movement, the NAACP's stated goal was to secure for all people the rights guaranteed in the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments to the United States Constitution, which promised an end to slavery, the equal protection of the law, and universal adult male suffrage, respectively.

    UNCF

UNCF was founded 64 years ago on April 25, 1944, by Dr. Frederick Patterson, president of Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University), Mary McLeod Bethune, president of Bethune-Cookman College (now Bethune-Cookman University), and others. The organization was founded with 27 member schools.
UNCF was founded to address inequities in the educational opportunities afforded to African Americans. UNCF believes in higher education opportunities for all Americans. UNCF-member schools do not discriminate and UNCF-administered scholarships are open to all.

    HBCU's
Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) find their origins in the time when African American students were systematically denied access to most other colleges and universities. Students at HBCUs have a unique opportunity to experience an educational community in which they are a part of the majority.
