Why is it that 2/3 of the INCARCERATED POPULATION is BLACK?

Is it because whites are so racist? or is it because MORE OF THEM COMMIT CRIMES?

At current levels of incarceration newborn black males in this country have a greater than a 1 in 4 chance of going to prison during their lifetime or more than 25%!

Based on current rates of first incarceration, an estimated 28% of black males will enter State or Federal prison during their lifetime, compared to 16% of Hispanic males and 4.4% of white males.

Of persons convicted of drug trafficking in State courts in 1990--85% were male 42% were white, 57% black, and 1% of other races

since 1990, African Americans have accounted for more than 75% of persons
incarcerated for drug offenses in Georgia and make up 97.7% of the people in
that state who are given life sentences for drug offenses.

I know some people might think that African Americans are arrested so often
for drug offenses because police officers target drug dealers and most blacks
fit that profile. If that is indeed the case, why did an analysis by the
Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles find that 77% of the offenses
leading to the first conviction and 79% of the offenses leading to a second
drug conviction involved less than one gram of a controlled substance. In
addition, that same study found that 60% of the cases involved drug values of
less than $50. I'm sure Georgia isn't the only state in which such statistics
hold true.

This is not about them, this is about you grouping all blacks and claiming that the black race is the most racist race of ppl in america. The black community hasn't had any real leaders for the past 20+ years, they are just like politicians, they only care about themselves. I can bet money that the black community is more accepting of different cultures, sexual and religion preferences than any other race.

Exactly so at the same time look at the poverty population of blacks. Higher poverty amount= Higher trafficking . If you were as smart as you said you was I would think you'd put that together.

Wait your arguement was that cops were RACIST towards blacks. That blacks had a right to have fear because white people (cops) were more likely to shoot at BLACK suspects.

I just proved that its not RACISM, yet its cold hard FACT that blacks are more criminals than whites. So the RACIST cops, arent racist, they are just going by statistics.
