If you learn anything, please let it be not to post you have a DUI on here. When you do **** like that think about you future first. You just ****ed yourself out of alot of jobs and opportunities alone. G/L to ya ,you will need it. hopefully you learn your lesson. Start thinking before you act for now on.

Lol, at everyone who didn't realize .63 was a typo. Dead lately?
Good luck with everything man. You'll probably lose your license for awhile but I doubt too much will come out of it. I had a friend that got a DUI when he was 17 or 18 I believe (he blew a .04x). He couldn't drive for 6 months, had to do some community service, but after that, he was back to normal life.
Suck it up, learn your lesson, and move on with your life![]()

Also, people on IA are some of the biggest drama queens in the world (not talking about OP, or the guy I quoted) I wonder if you people talk like this in real life. If so you must be "that guy" in your group of friends.![]()

I may be wrong but i always heard .02 was if you under 21, everyone knows over 21 is .08. Oh and ill chime in with the way to go retard and glad you didn't kill anyone. I wish you weren't so ignorant and could truely understand what risks you took in asuming you were ok to drive. Later, RS. :dosn't work for me:
get a kick ass lawyer. save every penny.. it can cost you an easy 5k.
alcohol is ZERO tolerance if your driving. .02 under 21. or .08 21+ DOES NOT MATTER. IF YOU ARE BEHIND THE WHEEL IT NEEDS TO BE .000
if your under 21 and chilling some where and you get tested by a cop for whatever reason if you blow over .02 than yes your in violation of having consumed alcohol
taking the class before you go to court and community service will lessen the punishment. BUT you will still be charged will full punishment.Originally Posted by itsnotarex
For instance lets say you are punished with 100 hrs community service and a DUI course. Lets also say you have already completed 50 hrs community service and a DUI course...they would still make you serve 50 hours at the least. NOW unless understand that at the same time the judge could say it doesnt matter starting today you still have to serve 100 hrs of community service and only sign off saying that you took the DUI class.
Under the age of 21 your license is gone 6 months minimum if not a year no questions asked the court room doesnt care, DMV doesnt care. You wont get a license for school/work - nothing. Flat out 6 months minimum no license.
IF you have a damn good lawyer he may be able to get that dropped to Wreckless Driving.. but you will still probably have to serve and pay full DUI punishment, but trust you really really want Wreckless on your record rather than a DUI even if you have to serve/pay more do more, whatever.
Thank you!!! The only educated post in this thread. Go to court and plead DUI less safe and it will only take your license away for 6 months. Go do your 40hrs of community service and show up for your probation and pay w/e your monthly fee is and deal with that for a year. It sucks but so does driving drunk.Originally Posted by Deke

^yea 6 months easy. 40 hrs to 70 hrs. DUI class and about 5-7k in fines...fees...classes..drug tests. so yes suck it up..lol save up. move on. oh, and dont ever fcuking do it again. the 2nd time your lawyer alone will cost you how much this entire first DUI is going to cost.
