how can u find ppl on the web?
i am a college student now but when i was a freshmen in high school my mom walked out on my dad and i. i havent heard from her since. i was wondering if any one knew how to find info of her on the web or somthing of that matter? if so post it up here.

yahoo people seach helped me find ppl and there came some pop ups of other sites that helped as well.

Integra8705, in your case it would helpful if you had a social number or last known drivers license number, or perhaps the last known county she resided. If you're looking for free websites, you maybe out of luck. Honestly, I would pay a company online a few bucks and have them track her down. Also, your dad has to know some of her family and how to reach them. From that point on, her family can tell you her whereabouts. Her side of the family can't forget they have a grandson/nephew/cousin.

if she used the internet often you could also just try to google her e-mail address and see if you get any leads there...

myspace is a really good place, ive found people i knew from like 5-7th grade on there. then i got some email from someone telling me to join www.wayn.com (where are you now). dont know how good that site is though.
I know with some of the Ppl search things, they contact the other person and tell them they are lookin for you and give them all your info if they wann get back in touch with you, so they dont get caught in legal battles, issues, etc.. If you really care bout her and wann find out as much as you can, spend the $ and get a PI.
If you know what state she's in, then try www.zabasearch.com its pull in a lot of the results that others miss. I looked my roommate up and it had his last 4 addresses and phone numbers on it... and the year he was born. Crazy!
Another vote for zabasearch.com, my mom has always been unlisted, yet they have all 3 of her last addresses and phone #'s.
